Prayer for Today

"This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it." (Psalm 118:24)

Lord Jesus Christ, I offer up this day to You.
Thank you for another day of life.
Let my words, thoughts and deeds bring glory and honor to Your name.
Be with me this day and every day.
Teach me Your ways.
Lead me and guide me in the way I should go.
Make me into the kind of person You want me to be.
Let me be a light to the world as I walk closer with You.
I pray this in Your mighty name.
